- Draws water from the Spiritwood Aquifer at Urbana, ND to serve over 1,050 accounts in 10 cities.
- Annual water consumption is 72 million gallons.


Owned and operated by the City of Valley City.
- Sanitation/sewer services provided through 120 acres of lagoon cells and 10 lift stations.
- Over 192 million gallons of holding capacity over 6 months.
- Present load is one million gallons per day.
- Excess capacity is 10 to 12 million gallons over 6 months.
